My break time browsing list for 30th Oct

Reading Time: < 1 minute

This week’s list is a little late as I wanted to make a last-minute addition of Shane’s post at the top there, just published yesterday. Also, it’s been a slow week for learning as I concentrate on some work projects and finishing out my #Hacktoberfest contributions. Have a good weekend folks!

Here’s what I’ve been reading and watching this week:

PIVOT in PowerShell

I’m a big fan of PowerShell and automation in general so Shane’s post on using PowerShell to pivot data ticks all the boxes for me. I’m always interested in edge cases where you can’t use the normal or easy tools to get the job done and you need to bake something yourself. Shane does a great job of demoing and explaining the steps involved. He’s also published a few posts on working with data in PowerShell that are worth a look. I’ll be bookmarking these for future use. Thanks Shane

Microphone Choices for Presenters and Webcasts

I was actually looking into this a few weeks ago but didn’t share my findings/responses here. So if you are looking for some community opinion on good microphones here’s my Twitter post and responses. Thanks to Brent for a great analysis/demo video of microphone quality.
